Options for making the wishing labels:

This is another ideas of a wishing bag using the little Christmas Tree Felt Template. In this case I cut the little Christmas tree in the adhesive felt. I also cut a little bit of ribbon which was folded and then I stuck it to the bag to hold the ribbon in place 🙂

How to use the adhesive felt templates to make Christmas gift wrapping

As shown above you can create these beautiful and unique gift tags and Christmas Wishing bags. I would normally add the Christmas wishing bags as part of my gifts but rather than inserting a Christmas wish label or tag I simply insert a Christmas card, lollipops, candy, a cookie or some candy canes. Whenever I do this my gifts are super popular!!!!!

So let me show you how to do it!

Gather wrapping paper (make sure its plain paper), Christmas ribbons, the adhesive felt sheet, pom poms and the Christmas Printable Templates from the Free Resource Library.

Trace and cut the biggest star from the Christmas Printable template. Using a solid color wrapping paper wrap your present. Choose one of your Christmas ribbons and tie it around the wrapped present. But a strip of a contrasting Christmas ribbon of about 7 or 8 inches. Fold it in half.

Peel off the paper backing from the felt star and stick it so that its holding both ribbons in place as shown in illustration below. This is so simple yet so effective!

Another idea is to trace and cut the felt Christmas tree from the Christmas Printable Template. Wrap the present in a solid color and tie a contrasting Christmas ribbon so that it has a cross in the upper middle of the present.

Cut another contrasting ribbon (in this case is the red one) and tie a bow around the green ribbon cross area.

Peel off the paper backing from the Christmas tree and stick it so that its holding part of the green ribbon. Using fabric glue stick the pom poms on the Christmas tree. Very effective as well!

You can also play around with the Christmas stockings that are part of the Printable Christmas Template. Stick the Christmas stockings on your present and then decorate the stockings by gluing little ribbons on it as shown in photo below.

I also like to include a wooden peg as part of the wrapping 🙂
